I miss his advice. I miss his concern. I miss sharing good news with him. I miss his kindness. I miss hearing him say everything will be ok. I miss laughter. I miss being understood and I miss being loved and loving back. I miss who I was. Today has been one year and eight months since I experienced any of that. My heart has tried but it is so sad and remains like me\u2026broken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">And no, he wouldn\u2019t want this for me but that doesn\u2019t change the huge void I experience everyday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grief is a rip current running alongside a powerful undertow.
