Back on the motorway. It is 1pm. Adam wouldn\u2019t let me put Steven the Seagull in the boot (trunk), and I am feeling some kind of way about it. We stopped off at one of the service stops on the motorway and tried Taco Bell UK edition because this is mediocre travel not posh travel. Not much different than Taco Bell US edition but they did have nacho fries, so we were all happy with that because we are three children on a mediocre road trip. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Back in B\u2019ham. We met up again with SL\u2019s bestest friend, Daniel. He lives in a nearby town so Adam drove us over and we bowled and then went for a drink to just hangout and talk. I genuinely have affection for this kid and feel like I\u2019ve known him forever. He and SL have been there for each other (on the other end of the phone and computer) through teenage years and some rough growing pains. Daniel has always been there and SL for him. This was a high point in the trip for me just getting to hang out with the cool kids and seeing them all connect in person. It made the Kid happy, and I have discovered that is what seems to bring me the truest joy these days. No pictures for this since the pictures aren\u2019t mine to post. We dropped Daniel off and headed back to the hotel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
