Thank you to everyone that supported David and this family through this journey whether financially or through thoughts and prayers or just keeping up with us through the blog postings. It was David’s wish to provide information to those close to us and maybe also help someone along the way that may be facing similar challenges. He was regretful he wasn’t always feeling up to contributing more from his point of view. Ultimately, that was his goal in the beginning. As things progressed, he struggled with updating and asked me to do it. Since he passed away, I have found his notes on intended blog topics, so he was always thinking about what he wanted to say. David was so very interesting and he had a huge and caring heart. I hope to continue his blog for as long as I can if only because he asked me to continue to write about him (or really anything at all) after he was gone. He wanted to give me a purpose. If our story could potentially provide some insight into cancer and the grief that it inevitably brings with it then he would feel pretty good about doing that.
