We have had no information about our cat, Winston and SL and I have been just sad. Asking each other why and what could have happened. We had several concerned neighbors reach out with possible sightings, but when we went to check it out, it was a similar looking kitty but not him. Never let it be said though, that the universal cat distribution system sleeps. Apparently for a few days, two very tiny black kittens had been wandering the neighborhood attempting to gain entry to houses with their sweet faces. I innocently opened a text from my next-door neighbor with a message and two little faces looking at me that said “these babies are looking for you” SL had already thought she heard a kitten that morning before work and I tried in vain to ignore the foreboding feeling of the stork cat depositing additional cute babies on our door step. I went to get the kittens at the neighbor’s and they ran to me like I was their long lost mommy. Sigh. So I told SL it was going to upset our already set in their ways senior cat colony, and we would need to find the babies a home and particularly one where they would be together because it was clear they were a sort of bonded pair. One doesn’t get far from the other. Lets see how long it takes to find this imaginary home.
